About KimatAI
KimatAI turns a vague idea — “somewhere warm in October” — into a complete, day-by-day trip you can actually take: real places, sensible routes, maps, timings and budgets, with an AI companion that plans alongside you and reshapes the trip when your plans change.
🌊 Why “KimatAI”?
The name comes from the Greek κύμα (kýma) — “wave” — and its plural κύματα (kýmata), “waves,” which the name echoes.
A good trip moves like a wave: it builds with anticipation, carries you somewhere new, and leaves something behind long after it's passed. We liked that a journey isn't a single moment but a series of them — one wave after another. And the AI that helps shape each one sits naturally right at the end of the word.
What KimatAI does
- Plans the whole trip — day-by-day itineraries built around real, named places, with GPS map stops, realistic timings, prices and local tips.
- Suggests where to go — describe who's travelling and when, and get ranked, seasonal ideas with honest trade-offs.
- A companion, not a form — ask anything mid-planning, or say what to change; it edits one activity, a whole day, or redrafts the trip.
- Everything in one place — bookings, packing lists, budgets with settle-up, live weather, guided walks, collaborative editing, and calendar/PDF export.
How it works, honestly
Itineraries and companion replies are produced by AI, which means they can occasionally be wrong or out of date. We build in fact-checking and always show real map coordinates so you can sanity-check, but you should still confirm opening hours, prices and bookings before you rely on them. KimatAI is a planning aid — a very good one — not a travel agent or a guarantee.
Who's behind it
KimatAI is built and operated by MENTIUS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17122926). We're a small team that travels a lot and got tired of planning trips across a dozen browser tabs.
Registered office: 60 Tottenham Court Road, Area 1/1, Suite 22, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 2EW.
